Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar are of great religious importance in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. Situated in the remote southwestern part of Tibet, these sites are revered by both pilgrims and travelers.
Day 1: Arrival in Simikot – Upon arrival in Simikot, Nepal, settle in and take time to acclimatize to the altitude.
Day 2: Simikot to Hilsa – Fly from Simikot to Hilsa. Cross the Nepal-China border and complete immigration formalities. Take the necessary time to adjust to the new altitude in Hilsa.
Day 3: Hilsa to Taklakot (Purang) – Drive to Taklakot (Purang) in Tibet. Upon arrival, take the day to acclimatize and rest.
Day 4: Acclimatization in Taklakot – Spend the day acclimatizing in Taklakot. Explore the local area and make necessary preparations for the journey.
Day 5: Taklakot to Lake Mansarovar – Embark on a scenic drive to Lake Mansarovar, enjoying the breathtaking Tibetan landscapes. Marvel at the sacred lake and its spiritual significance.
Day 6: Acclimatization at Lake Mansarovar – Take the day to relax and acclimatize at Lake Mansarovar. You may choose to go on optional short hikes or engage in cultural interactions.
Day 7-9: Kora Trek around Mount Kailash – Begin the Kailash Kora trek, which spans three days. Camp at Dira-puk and Zutul-puk during the trek. Experience the spiritual and natural beauty of the route.
Day 10: Return to Lake Mansarovar – Complete the Kora trek and return to Lake Mansarovar. Take time to reflect on the pilgrimage and enjoy the serene surroundings.
Day 11: Drive back to Taklakot – Drive back to Taklakot, marking the end of the pilgrimage. Rest and reminisce about the Kailash tour.
Day 12: Drive to Hilsa & Fly to Nepalgunj Via Simikot – Drive to Hilsa and walk to Hilsa Helipad to take chartered helicopter flight to simikot. After immigration at Simikot, Proceed for Nepalgunj by scheduled flight. Arrive Nepalgunj and check into hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu
Fly to Kathmandu & free at Kathmandu
Day 14: Visit & Worship Pashupatinath Temple Including Evening Aarti
Pashupatinath Temple is a sacred Hindu temple located in Kathmandu, Nepal. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is one of the most significant pilgrimage sites for Hindus globally. The temple’s architecture reflects a blend of pagoda and traditional Nepalese styles, and its surroundings include ghats, shrines, and the Bagmati River. Pashupatinath holds cultural and religious importance, hosting various rituals, festivals, and cremation ceremonies. The Pashupatinath Aarti is a significant and spiritually enriching ritual conducted at the Pashupatinath Temple.
Day 15: Departure transfer to International Airport for onward connection
